Job Summary
Dental Assistant at Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Main Campus. Under the dentist's supervision, assist with clinical and administrative duties including performing radiographs, obtaining alginate impressions for diagnostic or intra-oral appliances, sterilizing instruments, stocking and maintaining supplies, preparing examination areas, and supporting dental care in clinical and operating room settings. 8:00am–5:00pm shift; participate in equipment maintenance and data entry as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State certified as a Dental Assistant Radiographer
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
- Knowledge and understanding of the dental management of medically compromised patients to include cardiology, oncology, hematology, and infectious disease patients
