Job Summary
Assist the doctor in procedures, take x-rays and IOs, and perform prophylaxis cleaning of teeth while instructing patients on oral hygiene. Sterilize instruments and set up or breakdown treatment rooms for hygiene. Chart cavities and teeth with the doctor and chart the patient's treatment and treatment plan. Maintain compliance with New Mexico dental standards. This temporary role supports dental care delivery at CHOICE Healthcare Services, the largest pediatric dental provider in the Southwest, offering bilingual Spanish speakers an opportunity to work within a supportive team focused on community access to care.
Required Qualifications
- X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
