Job Summary
Assists the doctor in procedures, takes x-rays and intraoral photos, and performs prophylaxis cleanings. Sterilizes instruments and sets up or breaks down treatment rooms for hygiene and dental work. Charts cavities and teeth, instructs patients on oral hygiene, and collaborates with the doctor to chart treatment plans. Requires New Mexico X-Ray certification and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a dental college
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Topical Fluoride New Mexico Certification
- Sealant New Mexico Certification
- Coronal Polish New Mexico Certification with License number
