Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist the doctor in procedures while passing materials and performing tasks in compliance with New Mexico dental standards. Take x-rays and intraoral images, assist in prophylaxis cleanings, instruct patients on oral hygiene, and chart cavities and treatment plans. Set up and breakdown rooms for treatment and hygiene. Requires New Mexico X-Ray certification, BLS certification, and either dental college certification or three to six months of related experience. CHOICE Healthcare Services is the largest provider of pediatric dental care in the Southwest United States.
Required Qualifications
- X-Ray New Mexico certification with license number
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a dental college
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Topical Fluoride New Mexico Certification
- Sealant New Mexico Certification
- Coronal Polish New Mexico Certification with License number
