Job Summary
Welcome patients, prepare them for treatments, and provide chair-side assistance during restorative and prosthodontic procedures. Place and finish amalgam and composite restorations, set temporary crowns and bridges, and sterilize instruments while taking and processing dental X-rays. Educate patients on oral health and ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations. This role requires a high school diploma, six months of dental assistant experience, CPR certification, and proficiency in coronal polishing. The position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:45 AM to 5 PM with pay ranging from $16.00 to $20.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Excellent organization/computer skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant for a minimum of 6 months
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- CPR
- X-ray
- Coronal Polishing (perform regulated non-surgical tasks)
