Job Summary
Prepare patients for dental treatment and assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures. Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments, setting up operatories, and processing dental X-rays. Collect patient histories, record vital signs, and educate patients on oral hygiene. Provide post-operative instructions, manage medical emergencies, and assist with impressions and temporary restorations. Monitor dental equipment, order supplies, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. This role supports efficient clinical workflows and high-quality patient care within the Suwanee Pediatric Dentistry team.
Required Qualifications
- Active RDA certification or license (requirements vary by state)
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patientcentered approach
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to work effectively with patients and as part of a collaborative dental team
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to support team needs as required
