Job Summary
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures. Escort patients to the operatory, confirm medical history, and monitor vital signs and anesthesia levels. Assist the oral surgeon by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing necessary materials while documenting details into the electronic health record. Ensure patients are educated on treatments and receive post-operative care instructions with proper follow-up. Stock operatories and sterilization areas while maintaining a professional, cooperative demeanor. Must maintain certification, hold CPR certification, and be insurable by the company's insurance. Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification and/or license renewals as required by the state
- Must excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of the patient and our dental team
- Must be CPR Certified
- Dexterity and manual skills required for handling surgical instruments and assisting with procedures
- Must be able to travel between office locations
- Must be insurable by the company's insurance
