Job Summary
Prepare patients for dental treatment, assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures, and maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and setting up operatories. Take and process dental X-rays, collect and record patient histories and vital signs, and educate patients on oral hygiene and plaque control. Provide post-operative instructions, assist with managing medical emergencies, form preliminary impressions, and monitor dental equipment. Order supplies and manage inventory while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. This role supports efficient clinical workflows and high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment focused on core values.
Required Qualifications
- Active RDA certification or license (requirements vary by state)
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patientcentered approach
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
