Job Summary
As a Dental Assistant at Aspen Dental in Lexington, KY, you will support the clinical needs of the practice by assisting during a variety of treatment procedures, taking dental x-rays, setting up and breaking down the operatory post-treatment, managing infection control and instrument sterilization, conducting patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow, educating patients on oral hygiene, completing denture soft relines and temporary crowns, performing impressions and bite registrations, executing digital intraoral scans, assisting with charting for doctors, and collaborating with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
