Job Summary
Assist during treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, and set up or breakdown operatory post-treatment. Execute patient handoffs, monitor patient flow, and manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, complete denture soft relines, perform impressions and digital intraoral scans, and support patient charting. Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction while maintaining good oral health standards. This role offers competitive compensation at $16-$18 per hour with flexible scheduling, paid time off, and free continuing education through TAG U.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice
- x-ray certification if required
