Job Summary
Support clinical needs by assisting during treatment procedures, taking dental x-rays, and performing quality impressions and bite registrations. Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment, execute patient handoffs, and monitor patient flow while managing infection control through instrument sterilization. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, complete denture soft relines, perform digital intraoral scans, and support patient charting. Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction and perform various office tasks as necessary. Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice
- x-ray certification if required
