Job Summary
Assist during a variety of dental treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and breakdown the operatory post treatment, execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow, manage infection control and sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene, complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, perform quality impressions and bite registrations, conduct digital intraoral scans, support patient charting for doctors, and collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license/registration/permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
