Job Summary
Assist during a variety of dental procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and breakdown the operatory, and maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment. Manage patient flow, educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene, assist with dentures and temporary crowns, perform digital intraoral scans and impressions, support patient charting, and collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to build rapport with patients of all ages; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice
- x-ray certification if required
