Job Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical needs of the practice and doctors by assisting during a variety of treatment procedures, taking dental x-rays, setting up and breaking down the operatory, managing infection control and instrument sterilization, executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow, educating patients on oral hygiene, and performing duties such as denture relines, impressions, bite registrations, digital scans, and charting while collaborating with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
