Job Summary
Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, and set up and breakdown operatory post treatment. Execute patient handoffs, monitor patient flow, and manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, complete denture soft relines, perform quality impressions, and conduct digital intraoral scans. Support patient charting and perform various office tasks as necessary while collaborating with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice
- x-ray certification if required
