Job Summary
Assist the doctor during general dentistry procedures, maintaining efficient instrument pass-through and patient comfort. Prepare patients for and capture high-quality dental X-rays, while turning over operatories and sterilizing instruments per OSHA guidelines. Seat patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and provide post-operative instructions. Accurately record patient treatment notes and charts in a timely manner. Assist the hygiene team with charting and clinical workflow as needed. Active Arizona Dental Assistant and Radiologic certifications are required, along with prior hands-on experience. Full-time weekday hours from 7:15 AM to 5:15 PM with a monthly team performance bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Dental Assistant Certification
- AZ Dental Radiologic (X-Ray) Certification
- Prior hands-on dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in chairside techniques
- Proficiency in sterilization protocols
- Proficiency in digital diagnostic X-rays
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A compassionate chairside bedside manner
- A strong teamwork mindset
- Dependable daily attendance for our 7:15 AM start time
