Job Summary
Full-time Dental Assistant supporting a Prosthodontist with implant procedures; responsibilities include instrument sterilization, chair-side assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, taking dental x-rays and radiographs, preparing materials for impressions and restorations, post-operative patient education, radiographic imaging, preparing materials for impressions/restorations, inventory management, lab coordination, and maintaining records; scheduling appointments and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Requires valid state certifications and 2+ years of dental assisting experience; experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable. Must have strong manual dexterity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication and patient care skills; comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
- 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
