Job Summary
Dental Assistant is a full-time role responsible for preparing operatories, taking and mounting dental radiographs, sterilizing instruments, preparing patients for appointments, checking in/out patients, scheduling appointments, assisting with provider workflow, and handling billing/charting documentation. Duties include taking vital signs (blood pressure), obtaining medical history, and providing post-procedure oral-care instructions. Requires Active Dental Assisting Certificate in Iowa and Iowa Radiology Certification (or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire); Sterilization Certification is a plus. Salary range $18-21/hour with benefits package. Location: Council Bluffs, IA (on-site).
