Job Summary
Support specialty dental clinics within the School of Dentistry by performing advanced dental activities that require training and experience beyond general practice. Provide chairside assistance in both the Robertson Life Sciences Building and the Russell Street Clinic, adapting to specific work unit needs and limited travel when required. Maintain radiological proficiency certification and complete mandatory OHSU onboarding training. This role is ideal for candidates with two to three years of advanced specialty experience who thrive in an academic environment blending education, research, and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program
- Two years' experience as a chair side Dental Assistant in an Advanced Specialty
- Three years' experience as a chair side Dental Assistant in an Advanced Specialty
- Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency
- BLS from AHA
- Worked as a dental assistant in an advanced specialty within the last 5 years
Desired Qualifications
