Job Summary

Assist dentists with patient care by welcoming patients, preparing them for treatment, and performing four-handed dentistry following established protocols. Manage the operatory by removing disposable barriers, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies while ensuring OSHA compliance. Handle dental laboratory tasks including cleaning equipment, sterilizing instruments, pouring impressions, and tracking cases with dental labs. Review and update patient health histories, take radiographs, and provide post-operative instructions. Maintain dental equipment, inform the dental PM of repairs, and assist with front desk duties during understaffing.

Required Qualifications

  • Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certification; recertified every four (4) years
  • CPR Certified; recertified every two (2) years
  • Child Abuse Clearance; re-checked every two (2) years
  • Attends fraud, waste, abuse and cultural competency classes every year
  • Knowledge and familiarity with dental and medical terminology
  • Knowledge and use of dental software
  • English proficiency required
