Job Summary
Prepare operatories for patients, run sterilization, assist the provider during treatment, and support patient education on oral healthcare goals. Maintain equipment and supplies, schedule appointments, and keep thorough patient records. Complete a one-year certified dental assistant program or possess six months of on-the-job experience with Dental Assistant, X-Ray, and Nitrous Oxide certifications. Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings. This Doctor Owned, Doctor Led practice focuses on high-level patient care with a team engaged in positive energy.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- Six months on-the-job experience
- Dental Assistant certification
- X-Ray certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Nitrous Oxide certification
