Job Summary
Support the dental school operations with chairside dental assisting, instrument preparation and sterilization, and dispensing of materials. Assist faculty and students during chairside procedures and clinical demonstrations, prepare and disinfect instrument cassettes, maintain clean cubicles and dispensaries, and assist in the Central Sterilization and Dispensary areas. Follow safety guidelines for handling disinfectants and heavy instrument cassettes, and work under supervision of Dental Assistant III/IV. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and commitment to equity and inclusion in a fast-paced clinical education environment.
Required Qualifications
- B.C. dental assistant certification and current license
- High School graduation and completion of dental assistant program
- Two years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
