Job Summary
Dental Administrator responsible for day-to-day operational execution across DFCC sites, driving standardized workflows, compliance, and performance. Partners with clinical leadership, PAs, and central support to optimize patient access, staffing, scheduling, and the revenue cycle. Focus areas include KPI monitoring (patient volume, no-show rates, provider productivity), improving patient experience, aligning with HR and credentialing, ensuring HRSA/NYS DOH/OSHA compliance, and supporting growth across sites. Oversees credentialing/re-credentialing, budgets, financial performance, and quality-improvement initiatives to expand dental services and ensure sustainable operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in dental or healthcare operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations across multiple locations
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance management
- Knowledge of dental workflows, scheduling optimization, and revenue cycle processes
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (HRSA, NYS DOH, OSHA)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Prior multi-site management experience strongly preferred
- Experience in an FQHC or community health setting highly desirable
