Job Summary
Welcome guests and provide attentive service; take orders accurately and relay to kitchen; deliver food and beverages promptly; use upselling to recommend specials and menu items; guide guests in selections; offer menu recommendations based on preferences; invite guests to join Denny’s Rewards Program; maintain a clean dining room; process payments; work collaboratively with FOH and BOH to ensure smooth service; must have experience in server roles or customer service, strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, upselling and guest engagement, basic math and cash handling; 18+; flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; benefits include competitive pay + tips, flexible scheduling, meal discounts, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be 18+
