Job Summary
Greet and welcome all customers immediately upon arrival, verify party numbers, and seat guests at appropriate tables while introducing features of the day. Handle incoming telephone calls to take to-go orders, suggest new menu items from limited-time offerings, and provide initial beverage suggestions. Clean guest tables, bus dirty dishware, and stock the hostess area with to-go items and bakery products. Package to-go orders with 100% accuracy, expedite dine-in orders, and prepare drinks for the waitstaff to improve speed of service. Resolve complaints as they arise, notify the manager of issues, and collect payments in accordance with established cash handling procedures. Maintain proper supply of clean menus and complete side work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Superior Customer Service Skills
- Superior Communication Skills
- Must be able to read and write in the English command
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Must have the dexterity to manage a cash box
- Must be a multi-tasker to manage numerous of task simultaneous
- Must be organized and detailed
