Denny's Host / To Go Specialist

Greet and welcome customers immediately upon arrival, verify party numbers, and seat guests appropriately while introducing daily features. Handle incoming telephone calls to take to-go orders, suggest new menu items and beverages, and collect payments following established cash procedures. Manage front-of-house operations by bussing tables, cleaning the hostess area, and organizing supplies. Execute back-of-house duties including packaging to-go orders with 100% accuracy, expediting dine-in orders, preparing drinks for waitstaff, and completing sign-off processes on receipts. Resolve customer complaints promptly and notify management as needed. This role requires strong communication skills, mathematical ability, and the dexterity to manage a cash box.
