Job Summary
Greet customers with a smile, learn their names, and make every interaction positive. Prepare and present product demonstrations while answering questions and offering suggestions on preparation and use. Provide samples throughout your shift, organize supplies, and keep the work area clean and sanitized. Answer the telephone promptly and assist co-workers to ensure a pleasant environment. Report to work on time and adhere to all store policies and hygiene standards. This fast-paced role involves daily exposure to dirt and noise in a retail setting, with an hourly wage of $11.41 to $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to occasionally handle product for demonstration purposes
- Must be able to occasionally walk the floor or facility to observe operations, staff, or product
- Must be able to occasionally engage in physical activity incidental to core duties
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail store environment
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout a shift
- Must be able to handle daily exposure to dirt and noise
- Must be able to adhere to personal hygiene standards
- Must be able to adhere to dress standards
- Must be able to maintain strict adherence to all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines
- Must be able to report to work when scheduled and on time
- Must be able to provide prompt, friendly customer service
