Job Summary
Demolition Laborer needed to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to demolish structures, prepare sites for new construction, and support renovation projects. Read blueprints and construction drawings to understand demolition plans; assist with site preparation, debris sorting for recycling/disposal, and setting up safety barriers. Collaborate with team on tasks such as concrete breaking, framing removal, roofing teardown, and masonry cleanup. Apply construction management practices to coordinate tasks, inspect sites for safety, and document progress with reports. Requires familiarity with safety procedures, ability to identify hazards on-site, and strong physical stamina to lift materials and operate equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience on construction sites or in demolition roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of construction management practices
- Skills in related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, concrete finishing, masonry, or carpentry are advantageous
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials or operate machinery for extended periods
