Job Summary
Demi Chef in Wellington, NZ responsible for planning and assisting with the preparation and presentation of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, developing and plating high-quality meals, and supporting efficient morning service. Must help maintain food safety and hygiene, contribute to smooth kitchen operations through teamwork and clear communication, and continuously develop culinary skills, particularly in breakfast and early-service operations. Role requires flexibility across shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a minimum of 30 hours per week in a full-time kitchen environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Cook or Chef or similar position
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
