Job Summary
Prepare and cook Turkish dishes according to recipes and hotel standards; assist the CDP in daily kitchen operations and food preparation; ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control; maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section; monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory control; ensure proper storage and handling of all food items in accordance with hygiene standards; assist in minimizing food wastage and maintaining cost control; follow health, safety, and HACCP procedures; coordinate with kitchen and service teams; assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.
Required Qualifications
- Turkish cuisine experience in hotels or restaurants
- fluent English; Turkish language preferred
- culinary certification or relevant hospitality qualification (advantage)
- ability to work in fast-paced kitchen
- teamwork and time management
- flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays
