Job Summary
Demi Chef de Partie at Fairmont Makati assists in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Halal dishes in line with established recipes and standards, supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensures adherence to food safety and HACCP procedures, trains colleagues to maintain compliant kitchen operations, and oversees mise en place, ingredient prep, sauces, garnishes, and inventory to sustain quality, consistency, and portion control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in Halal kitchen at a luxury hotel is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of cooking techniques, Halal food preparation.
- Completion of kitchen apprentice or chef training courses for at least one year is an advantage.
- Graduate of a Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage
