Dementia RN Unit Supervisor

Direct the entire operation of the dementia nursing unit at MediLodge of Traverse City, managing hiring, discipline, and evaluations while planning meetings to address resident care issues. Monitor clinical operations and census to reassign personnel as needed, ensuring staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls. Contact physicians for timely interventions, oversee medication and supply acquisition, and participate in quality assurance programs. Assist in orienting new staff, monitor skills, and guide personnel requiring procedural assistance. Maintain the highest quality of care standards through effective communication with residents, families, and all organizational levels.
