Experienced dementia caregiver needed in Apex/ Garner area to provide one-on-one in-home care for a gentleman with advanced-stage dementia. Responsibilities include continuous supervision, companionship, redirection, and assistance with all ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals); manage advanced dementia behaviors with patience; maintain a calm, structured daily routine; support mobility and safety; light housekeeping; communicate updates to family and agency staff. Schedule options include part-time or full-time, with potential additional hours. Must have dementia care experience, be patient and dependable, possess strong communication and observation skills, have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, be comfortable with dogs, and pass a background check and references. Pay is $16.00 per hour.
