Job Summary
Lead Japan’s demand forecasting for GSK's portfolio by aligning business strategy with demand and supply plans. Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to ensure product availability and manage inventory health. Develop short- to long-term demand forecasts, improve forecast accuracy, and lead a team in employing modern forecasting methods. Required qualifications include extensive experience in supply chain or related fields, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant knowledge of marketing, finance or supply chain to maximize portfolio growth
- Demonstrated strength in leadership and the development of a team
- Experience communicating with and influencing/managing stakeholders up to Japan leadership team level
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, or Finance
- Experience working with industry standards, trends, and expectations with ability to interact with and influence third parties
Desired Qualifications
- Proven ability in Statistical forecasting, modeling, analysis and evaluation
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience problem solving in Pharma/Biotech commercial
- Experienced in a matrix environment, able to drive impact across a range of functions
- Experience with SAP/ECC, APO or OMP
