Job Summary
Demand Planning Separation role supporting the transformation as DePuy Synthes transitions toward standalone operations. Develop and maintain demand forecasts from historical data and market intelligence, analyze forecast accuracy and bias, align demand with supply capabilities, support S&OP/IBP processes, maintain data integrity across planning systems, and deliver dashboards and scenario analyses for leadership review. Requires cross-functional collaboration with Supply Planning, Commercial, Finance, and Operations; familiarity with SAP APO/IBP or similar platforms; and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Hybrid work arrangement with multiple potential locations across Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Bachelor's degree required; 8-10 years of relevant experience; Master's/MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, or analytics
- Experience with forecasting methodologies, demand planning tools, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
- Preferred: experience in medical devices, life sciences, or a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting S&OP or IBP processes
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques and performance metrics (MAPE, bias)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Language: English required
- Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel
- Certifications: APICS CPIM or similar preferred
