Demand Planning Manager

Job Summary
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, macroeconomic trends, and competitive intelligence to identify demand patterns, outliers, and risks. Spearhead Integrated Business Planning cycles, delivering strategic insights to bridge demand-supply gaps and optimize inventory positions. Partner with finance to align forecasts with revenue projections and quarterly budgeting, while managing new product introductions and phase-outs to minimize obsolescence. Act as a functional subject matter expert for demand planning operations, validating system configurations and planning logic with IT integrators. Lead cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Planning to ensure realistic demand plans and resilient supply networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Operations, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, IBP, or Planning systems
- direct experience driving monthly demand planning cycles and demand reviews
- Solid understanding of statistical forecasting, accuracy, bias, segmentation, lifecycle planning and demand analytics
- Experience working with Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning, Customer Service and Operations to build aligned demand plans
- Exposure to global planning processes or transformation environments
Desired Qualifications
- Practical experience with demand planning tools; exposure to o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP or similar platforms
- E-Commerce demand management and CPFR experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical problem-solving and ability to translate data into planning decisions
