Job Summary

Demand Planning Manager responsible for optimizing inventory efficiency and operational flow in the distribution center by leading replenishment, waving, and inventory slotting strategies. Partners cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, and Systems to develop and execute demand planning processes and capacity plans supporting service-level commitments and performance. Lead the design and execution of inventory slotting strategies to optimize pick paths, reduce travel time, and enhance order fulfillment productivity. Monitor slotting effectiveness and adjust strategies based on seasonality, promotions, and demand variability. Develop and maintain standardized demand planning processes across systems and workflows. Ensure work release aligns with order cutoffs, carrier schedules, and SLAs. Optimize wave planning, sizing, and sequencing to minimize congestion and improve throughput. Leverage statistical models and system tools to generate accurate demand forecasts and space utilization plans. Conduct forecasting analyses to ensure robust, data-driven methodologies. Produce weekly and monthly forecast and performance reports to inform decision-making; adjust forecast and capacity models in response to demand shifts. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align planning assumptions and drive continuous process improvements. Own site-level replenishment strategy to ensure forward pick locations are stocked and operationally ready. Track and report KPIs including replenishment accuracy, pick productivity, slotting efficiency, inventory availability, and wave execution adherence. Apply data analysis and root-cause investigation to identify inefficiencies and implement process and system enhancements. Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Mathematics, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • ≥ 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Profound knowledge of the Logistic demand planning process.
  • Strong knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues.
  • Possess strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Communication and team building skills
  • Detail orientated with extreme accuracy
  • Ability to perform spreadsheet analysis
  • Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in warehouse space and inventory.
