Job Summary
Demand Planning Analyst will develop accurate demand forecasts to drive production, inventory, and procurement decisions. Responsibilities include analyzing historical sales, market trends, and customer forecasts; maintaining forecasting models using statistical techniques and ERP/APS tools; monitoring forecast accuracy and bias; identifying root causes of variances and recommending corrective actions; preparing dashboards and reports for leadership; partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align forecasts with business objectives; supporting monthly S&OP meetings with data-driven insights; identifying opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline processes; supporting implementation of advanced planning tools and ERP enhancements; complying with safety, quality, and housekeeping practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in forecasting or demand planning within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and ERP/MRP systems
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
- Experience with forecasting software (John Galt)
- APICS CPIM or similar certification
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles
