Job Summary
Develop and maintain high-quality baseline statistical forecasts within SAP IBP, leveraging machine learning and historical data patterns. Manage data transfer between SAP IBP and SAP ECC to write back Planned Independent Requirements, while auditing and cleaning historical sales data to ensure model integrity. Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings with sales, marketing, and finance teams to integrate promotional calendars and market intelligence into the consensus plan. Track key metrics including Forecast Accuracy and MAPE to diagnose root causes and refine predictive accuracy. This role bridges cross-functional business units to optimize inventory levels and drive forecast accuracy for Topcon's productivity tools in construction, geopositioning, and agriculture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- 3 to 5+ years of dedicated supply chain or demand planning experience
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience using SAP IBP (specifically the Demand and S&OP modules), including setting up key figures, planning levels, and running 'what-if' scenario models
- Solid functional knowledge of SAP ECC modules (specifically PP, MM, or SD), master data elements (material master, BOMs), and how system-led planning maps to execution
- Highly proficient in advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and analytics platforms like Microsoft Power BI
