Demand Planner

Job Summary
Gather past and future demand factors from Business Units and forecast their impacts in Kinaxis planning tools. Integrate statistical models with local market knowledge to adjust forecasts, ensuring data consistency and accurate master data management. Analyze significant deviations from budget and market trends, conducting root cause analysis on Out-of-Stocks and demand plan changes to improve forecast accuracy and OTIF. Participate in Sales & Operations Execution by capturing opportunities for scenario planning and engaging stakeholders on products at risk due to short shelf-life. Support the preparation of demand plans for IBP meetings and coordinate with Product Planners to communicate agile supply plan changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of experience in demand planning
- Fluent English communication and writing skills
Desired Qualifications
- Fluent Mandarin communication
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and specifically in demand planning
- Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements
- Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving
- Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills
- Excellent systems (SAP and Kinaxis) skills and basic understanding of financial function
- A high level of accountability and attention to details
- Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
- Good team facilitation and relationship building skills
