Job Summary
Demand Planner responsible for developing and maintaining rolling demand forecasts, managing inventory planning, and supporting S&OP processes. Collaborates with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align forecasted demand with budget and inventory targets. Key activities include analyzing historical data and market trends, using statistical models and ERP/forecasting tools (e.g., NetSuite, NetStock), generating dashboards and KPIs, evaluating promotional impact, planning for new product introductions, monitoring stock levels to avoid overstock or stockouts, and driving process improvements to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools
- Experience with forecasting software (i.e. NetSuite, NetStock)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Experience in S&OP processes and cross-functional planning
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
