Demand Planner - Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, Dublin or Belfast (12 Month Contract)

Demand Planner role in Sysco Ireland across Newcastle West (Co. Limerick), Dublin or Belfast, contract position. Responsible for accurate product forecasting to support sales, minimise excess stock, and ensure availability within the distribution system. Responsibilities include forecasting to reduce stockholding, ensuring documentation supports delivery, improving profitability by managing excess stock and dumps, coordinating with suppliers for supply effectiveness, liaising with the Replenishment Manager on promotions/forward buys, and interpreting sales data to minimise markdowns and overstocks. Requires strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent Excel and systems knowledge (AX; MRP advantageous), and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers and suppliers, adaptability, and a proactive, organised approach to meet tight deadlines and drive value for the business.
