Job Summary
Demand Planner responsible for improving forecast accuracy and collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Sales and Supply Planning to incorporate short- and long-term market intelligence into the demand plan at product, customer, and market levels. Drive refinement of forecast assumptions, monitor forecast performance, develop a demand-based revenue plan, challenge sales/marketing assumptions when deviations occur, and lead S&OP-related demand reviews. Collaborates with Marketing to incorporate new product introductions, conversions, and deactivations, and supports continuous improvement through exception management and root cause analysis. Requires extensive data analysis (ERP/PLM/forecasting tools, Advanced Excel) and cross-functional partnership to deliver unconstrained demand plans to Supply Planning and drive business outcomes. This role is with Ecolab at the CHN-Huzhou Plant, China, and emphasizes data-driven insights, strategic alignment with business plans, and process improvements across planning functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent technical discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, finance, marketing or related analytical discipline
- Experience with ERP, advanced planning systems, analytical software
- Advanced Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Lean Six Sigma project experience and/or Green Belt (preferred)
- MBA preferred (optional)
