Job Summary
Demand Planner (Global) is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 8-Quarter demand forecasts based on historical data and market inputs, collaborating with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams, monitoring KPIs such as forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, analyzing demand trends to identify risks and opportunities, implementing and managing demand planning software and tools, coordinating with supply planners and production teams for timely delivery, conducting regular forecast reviews and adjusting plans, overseeing monthly SIOP processes, scheduling meetings, and preparing demand planning reports for senior management. The role may vary by location or segment and requires working with cross-functional teams to align plans with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management
