Job Summary
Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management to gather market intelligence, monitor forecast accuracy, and identify root causes for significant deviations. Participate in S&OP meetings to present demand plans and highlight key assumptions while managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet service targets. Utilize statistical modeling and demand planning software to generate forecasts, ensuring alignment with manufacturing operations in the Fremont area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to use statistical forecasting methods and software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
Desired Qualifications
- APICS or other supply chain certification
- Experience with a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
