Job Summary
Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information, then adjust forecasts based on new information and stakeholder feedback. Monitor forecast accuracy to identify root causes of significant deviations and identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to demand fluctuations. Participate in S&OP meetings to present demand plans and insights. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in demand planning within a manufacturing environment, and proficiency with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in statistical forecasting techniques and inventory management
