Job Summary
Develop and continuously optimize demand management strategies within the logistics environment by creating precise demand forecasts through analysis of historical data, market trends, and customer requirements. Collaborate closely with internal departments such as production, procurement, and sales to align demand and capacity planning. Identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain, then develop and implement appropriate measures to optimize inventory levels, material flows, and transport capacities based on reliable forecasts. Monitor relevant supply chain key performance indicators and drive improvements using Lean methodologies. Generate insightful reports, analyses, and management presentations regarding demand and logistics development while applying and advancing demand planning tools and digital planning systems to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Logistik, Supply Chain Management, Betriebswirtschaft oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Demand Management
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Demand Planning, Forecasting sowie Supply-Chain-Management und Bestandsoptimierung
- Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (insbesondere SAP) sowie gängiger Demand-Planning- und Analyse-Software
- Ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten sowie ein hohes Zahlenverständnis
- Kommunikationsstärke sowie sicheres Auftreten in der Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Eigenverantwortliche, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit und Hands-on-Mentalität
Desired Qualifications
