Job Summary
Develop and manage a 12-month rolling demand plan/sales forecast for assigned product lines by analyzing historical sales data and SKU performance. Support supply chain forecasts by creating purchase orders in Sage, updating ETA dates weekly, and developing recovery plans for anticipated stockouts. Maintain forecasting databases including POS monthly reporting and China warehouse records while preparing weekly inventory update reports. Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and product development teams to align forecasts with business needs and coordinate special projects such as promotions and liquidation. Attend weekly China video conferences to support international supply chain operations. Requires minimum of 2 years in supply chain management with advanced Excel skills; on-site role in Loris, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in supply chain management
- At least 1 year in forecasting or demand planning
- Proven experience in managing demand plans, purchase orders, and inventory optimization within a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with container forecasting, SKU-level analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and supply chain teams
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Advanced certifications in supply chain, forecasting, or demand planning (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate sales data and inventory metrics to improve forecast accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (pivot tables, data modeling, forecasting functions)
- Experience with Microsoft Access and ERP systems (e.g., Sage)
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, purchase order processes, and safety stock planning
- Familiarity with sales data analysis, SKU lifecycle management, and promotional performance tracking
- Understanding of international supply chain coordination, including vendor management and shipping timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and forecasting/reporting tools
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage
- Experience with database management systems (Microsoft Access)
- Familiarity with supply chain planning tools and reporting dashboards
- Ability to move freely within an office environment and occasionally between office, production, or off-site locations for meetings, photo/video shoots
- Ability to move freely within an office environment and occasionally within distribution/warehouse facilities for collaboration, meetings, or inventory reviews
- May be required for short periods during presentations, warehouse walkthroughs, or team meetings
- Occasionally required to lift or transport documents, laptops, or office/meeting materials weighing up to 20 pounds
- Regular use of computer, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods
- Occasional bending or reaching when handling files, office supplies, or meeting setups
- Adequate vision for reading, analyzing spreadsheets, reviewing forecasts, and working with digital dashboards
- Hearing sufficiently to participate in virtual and in-person meetings
- Primarily a standard office setting with occasional exposure to warehouse or distribution environments
- This position does not require any travel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
