Job Summary
1st Shift Mechanical Technician at Reviva in Brooklyn Center, MN. You will be a key contributor to our engine remanufacturing excellence, performing full teardowns of complex diesel engines using impact wrenches, air chisels, and specialized hand tools according to SOPs. You’ll operate overhead hoists and carts to transport heavy engine components to cleaning stations while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities include disassembly, quality inspections to document core component integrity, collaborating with fellow technicians to optimize production flow, and maintaining a clean, organized work area in line with 5S and safety standards. This role requires 1+ year of mechanical assembly/manufacturing experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, the ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 70 lbs, and strong communication skills. 1st shift hours are 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., impact wrenches, drills, torque guns)
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and repetitively lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong communication skills and a "Right the First Time" quality mindset
- Preferred: Prior experience with diesel engine teardown or assembly
