Job Summary
Safely load, transport, and unload products following DOT regulations and company procedures while managing assigned routes locally and cross-border. Pull customer orders, assist with receiving and stocking new inventory, and maintain vehicles, cargo areas, and documentation in a clean, accurate condition. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report safety concerns or incidents immediately, and properly handle hazardous materials in compliance with HazMat and FMCSA requirements. Provide courteous service to customers and serve as a brand ambassador reflecting Haun's core values. Work primarily outdoors in an industrial environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and fumes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a valid Enhanced New York State driver's license free of major infractions
- Valid US Passport with New York State driver's license
- Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A license in good standing
- Current DOT Medical Card in good standing
- HazMat endorsement
- Air Brakes endorsement
- Tanker – route specific endorsement
- Must meet all FMCSA and DOT Clearinghouse requirements and maintain eligibility to operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Home Every Night
- Ability to exert over 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert over 50 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert over 20 pounds of force constantly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
